Assisted Relative
Pursuant to the Immigration Regulations an "assisted relative" means:
a relative, other than a member of the family class, who is an immigrant and is an uncle or ant, a brother or sister, a son or daughter, a nephew or niece, or a grandson or grand daughter of a Canadian citizen or permanent resident who is at least 19 years of age and who resides in Canada.
